So, I had my mouth set for this gyro all week. Im at the counter paying. I check my food, an onion fell off......and lo and behold Mr.Roach appeared in a matter of seconds! I went to the car with my food and I just couldn't. I went back in to get my money. The cashier knew what happened. Manager acting crazy. I'm like, look, please don't get loud with me. Do you want me to go show your dine in customers this?

The Mediterrenian music tinkled in the background. The smell of roasted meat filled the air. The owner was so kind to us (and my rambunctious kids). The food is made with love and tastes like it.
It is always quiet when we are there but that isn't a bad thing. The food is always delicious and fresh. I love the beef schwarma! They do both dine in and take out, which is good for the WIU students and locals. My husband an I come often.
One of my favorite places in Macomb. Food is always fresh and tasty. The owner is super friendly and informative as well. The dishes are always nicely presented as well. I usually get the vegetarian plate, which includes a bit of everything and is always great.
