I have lunch several times a week with an 85 year old woman who had a skin cancer removed off her face. She has very delicate, parchment like skin, and you can't even see where the scar is on her face. It's amazing. Whatever else, this guy is a wizard when it comes to cutting skin and leaving no scar.
Friendly staff. OK medical service. Horrible payment/insurance practices. Visited this place numerous times to have a wart repeatedly frozen. I'm no medical expert, but when the doctor shaves the skin off the top of/around the wart with a scalpel, he should NOT just drop the flakes of skin onto the floor. This happened every time I went in for treatment and every time I saw dead skin flakes on the floor from pervious patients piled up. This strikes me as a very unsanitary practice, not to mention just downright gross. What's worse though is the fact that whoever is entering insurance information and dealing with billing is either incompetent or dishonest. We received and paid the bill for my treatments, then after a span of several months, we received an inflated bill and were notified that payment was "Past Due" (in threatening red ink, no less) and that our account had been sent to collections. This was ludicrous, as we made our payment on time and had never received any other bills from the office prior to be notified of anything being past due. The bill also listed incorrect insurance payments and missing deductibles. When we contacted our insurance provider, it appeared that our insurance information had been entered incorrectly, which accounted for the issues with our bill. My fiancé also used this doctor for biopsies and was only ever billed directly from the diagnostics lab in MO that checked the tissue samples for any cancer. Again, she received no bills from the doctor's office in the mail until yesterday when she received one saying she was past due on payments with the same exact issues with insurance coverage.
Simply put, I would never recommend this provider again based on the nightmare our billing/insurance process has been and continues to be.
